We’ve all heard about how data analytics are going to totally change the accounting profession. Unfortunately, for most of us, we listen to the presentation about sweeping changes and then we go back to work doing what we’ve always done. In this session we’ll take you from the realm of the theoretical to the practical. We’ll discuss specific steps you can take to begin adding data analytics capabilities to your existing practice and also create new high-value service offerings. We’ll cover the service offerings themselves, how to price engagements, some tools to consider using, and how to find the right talent to deliver something that is not part of the traditional accountant’s skillset.
