Pete Bieghler specializes in providing audit effectiveness and efficiency training, as well as additional training services for accounting firms throughout North America. Before joining Thomson Reuters AuditWatch, Pete was a senior audit manager at Katz, Sapper & Miller (KSM) in Indianapolis. At KSM, he was a member of the firm’s Audit Efficiency Task Force. Prior to KSM, Pete was an audit manager at Crowe Chizek in Elkhart, IN and Indianapolis, IN. Pete is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. He earned his undergraduate degree from Ball State University.
Rachel is a Shareholder of hb&k in the Brewton Office. She joined the firm in 2001 and is currently serving as the Director of Accounting and Audit Services. Rachel has spent much of her career providing audit and assurance services as well as tax and advisory services to clients in the governmental, non-profit, hospitality, professional services, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing industries. She enjoys working with her clients to understand how their businesses operate and how hb&k can help them achieve their goals.
As chairperson of the firm’s Technology Committee, she enjoys helping the firm develop innovative solutions to its technology needs. Rachel has a love for helping people and building relationships which resonates both within the firm and with her clients. She had the opportunity to share her expertise by participating as a session leader in the 2016 Thomson Reuters Synergy Conference. She has also been recognized as a Bridging the Gap 2015 Winner through the Emerging Leader award, an award presented by Boomer Consulting, Inc. each year.
Rachel resides in Jay, Florida. She enjoys spending time with her family and attending the Golden Memorial Holiness Church where she sings in the choir. She is a devoted Atlanta Braves baseball fan. Rachel enjoys reading, playing the piano, cooking, and relaxing at her family’s pond. She also enjoys traveling and considers taking a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and watching a Broadway play in NYC to be highlights of some of her recent trips.
